bordeaux bandit live and direct on line
allo allo....is any body out there...this is The Bordeaux Bandit calling....i'm coming to you live and direct from my dugout cellar deeply entrenched in the Médoc....the harvest is over for another year and well....i thought it was time to start blogging....it sounded painful, but now that i have given it a try...it seems quite good fun actually...
so i finally made it.....i'm signed up, kitted out and now have the world at my fingertips...i'm officially a member of the worldwideweb...it is "formidable"..the wonders of modern technology.....but i must say that to generate enough electricity to keep my PC from flickering on and off.....my partner in crime.....the very distinguishable Monsieur Jean-Luc Tirebouchon pedalling faster than Lance Armstrong used to sprint down the Champs Elysées...in Paris....zat is impressive.....because inspite of Jean Luc being a dope...he does'nt take any.....he'll need a rest soon....so i'll keep this brief..
it has to be said though that these modern wind up PC's do eat up a lot of internet tokens...the minutes seem to go by so fast........plus vite que le TGV mon ami...and zat is no joke... as we say in bordeaux...its "boeuf à la mode". ....and that is going some..i have to say....keep on pedalling Jean-Luc....i'm still not finished...
so right now i'm knee deep in the sabled macerating jesus juice that one day; in the not too distant future, i hope will tickle the fancy of the twirling bow tie brigade when it decsends "en masse" to my beautiful city... to taste the vintage next spring.....between now and then ....there is much work to be done...and i hope many moments of wine passion shared with you my wino friends out there on the worldwidewineweb.
ah, there is someone knocking on the cellar door....i'm going to have to leave you for now....i'll say a bientôt...and hope to speak to you again soon.....when i'm back on....i'll tell you about my trip down to Agen to meet a man about some prunes which then took me up to Cahors where we ducked and dived our way around a couple of cellars and picked up some really deeply rich red hooch and some exquisite foie gras....but that'll have to wait until next time.....
bandit....over and out.
